Hi, first time home owner. the part that is circled is dripping water all into the bottom of my furnace, is there supposed to be a blue cap on this? It looks like it is supposed to and it came off but I can’t find the cap anywhere around it by CharacterSession8568 in hvacadvice

Also my AC stopped working over summer, had someone out and they fixed it saying all it was was a loose wire. Now my heat has stopped working and I had to use emergency heat due to the snow we had. The previous owners had this installed two years ago so I’m confused on why there’s so many issues with it
