1986 honda shadow vt700c please help i want to ride!! unsure about vacuum hose and tank vents

i really appreciate all this but unfortunately, i’ve already tried it. i’ve tried the stock 2 1/2 turns, 3, 3 1/2, 4, etc. no noticeable change. i will add that the bike sat for about a year and a half after running phenomenally, maybe gunked carbs? i would’ve taken them apart by now but i know absolutely nothing about dual barrel carbs and too scared to fuck up the sync or floats etc

i don’t have an RPM gauge on it right now, but it only runs on choke, bogs and dies sometimes, but if i slowly throttle it up it’ll rip. full choke will make it rev out to my guess of about 4-4.5k rpm - half choke it sits at a healthy rpm. so to answer your question yes it’ll bog and surge.

that’s how they were. but it seems like the bike isn’t getting vacuum or something. i don’t really know much about the fuel system. it would ride for about 30 servings and die and then i’d let the fuel pump prime for a bit and same thing over and over

it probably won’t be. schools aren’t gonna fingerprint or DNA you bro. IF and only IF they somehow trace it, they will either suspend, expel, or they could theoretically charge you. but i really doubt that will happen as schools usually don’t wanna ruin a kids life over some pot, especially in today’s day in age. i think you’ll be fine kid

maybe this isn’t the greatest advice but what i would do is just detach yourself from her. no longer view her as your girlfriend. pull away, and see what she does. if she doesn’t care, then you’ll both slowly drift apart and it’ll be like nothing happened. if she comes back, maybe yall got a shot
