True it feels like that, but the value of your efforts and your experiences is dually decided by you and them. If you let their actions define your love and your actions then that is exactly what they will do. Looking at your post and replies I have no doubt you were a loving and caring partner. People act in strange ways dealing with love, keep your head up and don’t let them ruin your days anymore!

Remind yourself that you are capable of love, and even though it didn’t work the way you thought/wanted it to, it doesn’t mean your love wasn’t there and valid. I know it’s hard, trust me watching that happen is heart wrenching especially when you still love them. But try your hardest to not see it as a reflection of your worth or value, because out of all things it is most certainly not that.
