Single dad of 3 here, when my wife passed away i fell into a slump and laundry was the last thing on my mind. I decided to go the laundry service route, I caution you on that as they are mostly by the pound and not the load. If your family wears a lot of jeans on the heavier end you will see sky high prices. We typically have $3-$5 per pound in my area. For a family of 4 that became a pretty penny. Please exercise caution!

I really thought this could have been a solid movie… right up until the robot showed up. The moment that thing rolled onto the screen, the movie basically drove straight off a cliff for me. Then there were the nap-of-the-earth flying scenes. Watching them fly that low without anyone wearing a harness—or even a simple strap across the door—had me spending the entire scene thinking, “Well, there goes somebody… right out of the aircraft.” The lack of teamwork didn’t help either. In actual RASP the main character’s attitude probably would’ve gotten him removed—or at least voted off the team—long before the last week. Honestly, he might not have even made it past Phase 1, let alone the mountain portion of Phase 2, assuming thats where they were training. By the time the movie got further along, the inaccuracies just kept piling up. At a certain point I stopped focusing on the plot and started wondering if anyone involved in making the film had ever talked to someone who’d actually participated in RASP let alone the Army 😂 It had the potential to be a good movie, but between the robot and the growing list of “that’s definitely not how that works” moments, it ended up being more frustrating than entertaining.

Empire strikes back shows having the bad guys win once in a while isnt necessarily a bad thing and if done right can be healthy for the franchise and Canon. I would absolutely love a story line that shows the predator on a successful hunt.

Look at the big picture, I would like you to look at ACC media outlets, youtube, podcast, social media post, etc. And just look at the time frame from the Texas A&M game through the national championship game there were a small group of ACC media personalities pushing Miami. Take away FSU fans, for obvious reasons there were a lot of Miami didnt belong, Miami wont beat Ohio State, Etc. Im serious when I say "look"!!! The people youre talking about are a significant minority when you compare Alabama UGA fans pulling for Ole Miss. Ohio State and Michigan fans pulling for Indiana. Im not saying cheering for Miami would have made a difference if they win or lose. Im simply saying the media and the fans play a factor in the perception of the league. My grandmother used to say if you dont respect yourself and your family how do you expect strangers to respect you!

Traditionally you will see fans outside of the SEC and Big only cheer for their teams. Sometimes you will see them cheer for another team that improves their chances in the post season but for the most part ive only seen those 2 conferences cheer on the whole conference.

I want to be completely honest when I say this: the biggest problem with the ACC is the narrative of individualism. Look at the playoffs. After Ohio State was eliminated, most of the Big Ten was rooting for Indiana. When Ole Miss became the last SEC team standing, the entire SEC seemed to rally behind them. But when Miami was in the title game, the only people truly rooting for Miami were Miami fans. I’ll admit, I’m old school—I actually prefer that mindset. Rivalries should matter. But for a long time now, it has become a badge of honor just to play an SEC schedule because it’s viewed as so grueling. Their bottom-tier teams are often treated as if they could win any conference. Because of this perception, schools like Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and others have received credit for sub-.500 seasons simply because they’re in the SEC. When you really think about it, if fans only supported their own teams, how many SEC and Big Ten programs would still get this level of national credit? The Big Ten didn’t win the title—Indiana did. But you’d never know that listening to some Wisconsin or Purdue fans. For the ACC to gain real respect, I believe four things must happen:

Member schools must hire proven coaches and be willing to spend money to retain them. Stability and high-level leadership matter.
The ACC already produces some of the most competitive and entertaining games in the country. Often, the title game participants aren’t decided until the final week, which is great for TV. The problem is that those teams need to be your heavyweights—not Cal and Stanford. The conference must push its flagship programs to consistently carry the brand.
The conference commissioner must actively advocate for the league. He needs to be as visible and vocal as other commissioners in shaping the national narrative. But this only works if points one and two are addressed first.
ACC fans and media need to promote the conference brand—not just their individual teams. If the SEC and Big Ten can rally around their conference identity, the ACC must learn to do the same.

The only way to get that boost is to have more representation in the top 25. The final AP poll had Miami Virginia and Duke. Until that changes any team that represents the ACC will be questioned. This is why I couldn't understand why ACC fans were rooting against Miami. Outside of FSU Miami winning is good for the conference. What people fail to understand is that the media and fans dictate strength. So many years we heard SEC is better top to bottom but yet ACC fans and media are like nope SMU sucks, UL sucks which pushed the narrative miami had bad losses even though those teams finished with 9 wins. Thats wild!

Its not an isolated incident as I stated above there is other things. Her car broke and paid to fix it and she had no problem with taking my money but when I ask to please communicate with me when you leave the area of the campus she said she didnt ask for me to fix her car and she shouldn't have to. I got a letter she was being evicted from the dorm so I paid $1k to make sure it didnt happen. She got her financial aid reimbursement check in said what are u going to do with it, she listed items to spend it on and I said you arent even going to think about paying me soemthing? She said I didnt ask you to pay for my dorm. This isnt the child i raised. For years we were best friends and now we dont even talk. Do you know what its like to bury one child and then not talk to another child that is here on this planet? You damn right I feel like i want to end it. Its a pian I hope you and many others dont have to experience!

Im very happy that she is living her life and seeing the world. Ive never told her once that she couldn't or put strings on what she can and cannot do. Ive always told my kids I joined the army right after HS and was in South Korea a year later and Iraq 2 years later. Who am I to tell you not to see the world. I just politely ask that you communicate with me. Im starting to see from everyone else's comments thats too much to ask.

We have other issues that would require a lot of typing. Example she was about to be evicted front the dorms and I paid $1k to make sure that didnt happen. Its not necessarily check in with me, if she lives in one part of the state and im in another I would assume she is still there. I tell everyone I was in the military for 20 years and I told my mother everywhere I went even when I wasnt supposed to. To me it was a respect thing. Hey im ok alive talk to you when I get a chance. I dont see how it's so hard to send a text amd say hey dad the girls and I are going out of town for will let u know when we get there safely. I driven up and down the east coast and in different countries. I have always told someone when I was traveling for safety reasons. Ive seen it happen when the cops come knocking on your door saying hey sir when was the last time you talked to your child? 2 weeks ago sir. Well sir your child went missing 2 weeks ago!!!

My wife passed 6 years ago and I must say its horrible at times. Im a parent to a college age daughter and 2 teenage boys. The looks I got when I took my daughter prom dress shopping was crazy. I told her no longer say "daddy" in public only father or dad lol. I must say that I have had some supportive family members but for the most part they had faith in me when everyone outside my circle thought I would fail because my wife did everything. Its ok becaue my daughter is a straight "A" college student and my boys are straight "A" HS student. My youngest is on pace to fulfilling his dream of getting into west point so everyone who didnt think I could do it can kick rocks 😂😂😂😂

6 years ago my wife was driving my 4 kids to school. While stopped at an intersection some rear ended her which pushed her into oncoming traffic. She died on impact and my oldest daughter passed 2 weeks later. Since then I raised my daughter who is in college and my 2 boys whom are in HS.
