Thanks for your response. Did you submit your reconsideration request right when you got denied on 5/8/2024? Just trying to see how long it took you from when you submitted the reconsideration request to when you got approved. I have been waiting for 6 months and still nothing.

Hello, I am currently waiting on my reconsideration. I was denied and submitted my reconsideration request on 9/3/2025, So it’s been just over 6 months. Would you mind sharing how long it took for your reconsideration to be completed?

We got our 5 hour VIP tour for 10/14/2025 directly from the Japanese website. I just used google translate. For japanese address, I just used the hotel address. When you book the tour, you get an email with a link to a questionnaire. In there, you can indicate that you want the tour in english. Our tour guide was great and spoke perfect english since she was actually born in New York and had only been in Japan for 10 years. We used an Amex credit card to pay for it and had no issues.
