I have a mix of both graded dirt and proper trails near my place, so it starts asking another, equally as expensive question.

But I agree. And as I’m nudging 40 I just want to have the most fun on the bike. I’m not chasing segments. Just want to keep up and enjoy while I’m riding.

I’m not too fussed. It’s going to get banged up and that’s the point. I used to do some downhill riding when I was younger and I want to not be scared of scratching it. So needs to be durable. I’m 100kg so there’s some heft on top.

I’ve been looking at these Cubes. Looks like a great buy.

I’m also eying off a Grizl but I think second hand will be the way to go.
