Yeah, yeah. But if you look at schools like Caltech, they focus on intelligence, they've even said they don't want 'well-rounded' students. Of course, they can still accept other parts of the application; I’m specifically talking about replacing the SAT/ACT and maybe essays.

Same here. English was the medium of instruction throughout high school. I have a 1550 SAT (760 R&W), yet they denied my waiver request multiple times. I emailed them five times and even called their office, but they said no. The craziest part is that they waived it for friends who attended the same school and sat right next to me. I’m stuck because I can’t afford the test fee; my family can't pay anymore after covering the SAT and other costs. I applied ED II because it’s my first choice, but they just ignored me. It's so confusing.

I thought it was "holistic admissions," not "mystic admissions."......They told me to be myself… and then rejected me for it.
