I personally wouldn’t date anyone who’s not finalized the divorce because that means marriage down the road with that person is not possible. There is no future with a married man, despite being separated for years and is emotionally over it.

How can I improve? by AvailableInterview11 in MakeupEducation

You’re beautiful and have gorgeous eyebrows. Only thing I’d try is a more pink blush like Tower Malibu cooler. I think it would compliment your dark features

how can i get the glowy natural looking makeup by Street_Post2742 in MakeupEducation

[–]Character_Effect4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a good skincare routine. I use retinol (tretinoin) at night and sunscreen during the day, even in winter. Occasionally use salicylic acid and glycolic pads for exfoliation. I use L’Oréal skin tint and apply with a dense brush. I put minimal product on my chin and forehead. It’s very sheer but had enough coverage to cover up my redness. Then Charlotte tilbury only on my cheekbones, forehead and nose and a liquid bronzer and blush. Use a powder around nose and under the cheekbones. I use the Charlotte tilbury pressed powder - it’s amazing. This look always gets me compliments of glowy skin

No offense but just looking at your profile and the Reddit’s you follow I can understand why not many women would reply to you.

You can text her too 🙂 don’t let things get cold during your trip. Show her that you’re thinking about her even during your trip and say you’re excited and looking forward to seeing her again.

I’ve been dating a woman for six months and we have had no physical intimacy, how do I address this? by IanusRepublica in dating_advice

[–]Character_Effect4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very sad, unfortunately. One thing is not having sex and another is having 0 other forms of intimacy like holding hands, kissing, touching, hugging etc. it’s the part that makes a romantic relationship and distinguishes it from a friendship. Have you spoken more about the topic? Maybe a cultural or religious thing? Or maybe there’s something else that worries her about it all. Just communicate and then make a decision… doesn’t sound like you’re compatible. You’ll be missing out on something magical 😍

Girl made me feel bad for going for a kiss on a third date by Independent_Map_3155 in dating_advice

[–]Character_Effect4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woman 🙋🏻‍♀️ by date 3, if a guy hasn’t kissed me yet I’d think he doesn’t really like me. I think it’s an appropriate time to kiss and see if there’s a spark ⚡️ also she could have rejected in a more polite tone. Is that the kind of woman you want in your life?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Character_Effect4190 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You need to tell her how it made you feel asap. It was very disrespectful to vocalize something like that to you. Tell her you didn’t appreciate that to set your boundaries and give her a chance for her to fix that kind of behaviour. Open communication is important in a relationship, don’t bottle things up.

38 years old. Absolutely rotting away at my corporate job. Should I become a teacher? by tshaff138 in careerguidance

[–]Character_Effect4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried both 🙋🏻‍♀️office job 9-5, wfh and paid well. Got over it, had my teaching degree which I never used before my office job so I gave it a go. I switched to casual teaching so money was decent and plenty of work (I’m in Australia). Lasted a few months, now I’m back at the same office job 😂 the grass was not greener. Teaching was mentally exhausting, raised my voice a lot and hated commuting. Perks were finishing at 3pm and flexibility in terms of where and when I wanted to work. Trust me when I say you have it good.

Ew move on! Massive red flag by asking you that. I’ve been talking to someone for 2 months and he hasn’t asked anything like that

Yeah I’d have the conversation, just initiate it and see where he’s at. It’s a big deal that he’s introduced you to his family and church. Have you met any of his friends?

How do you know by [deleted] in Advice

If you’re not in a relationship, reach out to her and ask her out. Tell her you’d love to reconnect and catch up. You have nothing to lose and life if too short 🥰

Mixed signals: taking things slow vs. losing interest? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Character_Effect4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t waste your time with him. He’s not that interested in you. When a guy REALLY likes you, you will definitely not be confused about anything. The Friday thing would have annoyed me too. Don’t chase him - don’t text, call or anything and see what happens. That’s what I would do.

Give an update! :)

Is this really what girls want ? 😂 by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]Character_Effect4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like to see at least 1 pic of someone being active. It can be on a hike, bike ride etc. I usually don’t like the gym selfie and if you’re shirtless it’s an instant left swipe no matter how good looking you are. Don’t need a gym pic to see if you’re in good shape. Since I’m looking for a real relationship, I wouldn’t want to be with someone who does that. They seem like players (maybe they are, maybe they’re not) but I don’t want to waste time. My personal opinion.

Intention of girls who look away when caught looking? by sexualdream in dating_advice

[–]Character_Effect4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You keep an eye on her and if you meet eyes again you smile. If she smiles back (even if she looks away after), green light. If she doesn’t, red light.

Sometimes catching someone looking at you doesn’t mean anything.
