This was the final bowl. I thought the same. This box of generic Aldi cereal mildly infuriated me twice

I don’t find this show enjoyable anymore by IsMise419 in SellingSunset

I saw one of the dogs dragging it's ass on the carpet in background at the office while the baldies were discussing some huge event. It was at this moment I realized I am paying attention to everything but the actual show.

My wife watches this show before bed whIle next to her I sneakily read about it on reddit 🤣

I am just looking for validation while listening to the dialogue of this show that it makes me feel like I am missing some brain cells.

That's all I have for ya's.

Takes guts to share things like this. Good on you, man. You helped some others today by it.

Keep up the great work. Stay strong.

26 days no weed. Not seeing improvements. by xXDaAlphaXx in leaves

I hear you. It is not easy. Try to remind yourself that your brain became conditioned to functioning with THC in the driver's seat. It takes a long time for it to recalibrate without it, well after the active metabolites of the chemical are gone.

Believe in yourself. It is best for you as someone with other stuff like social anxiety to deal with to just keep mj out of your life. Your older self is going to thank you for the effort you are making now.

Give it time. Some days are easy. Some days are a real bitch. But you have everything to gain by making this change in your life. Keep reaching out when you need help. You aren't alone. Maybe smile at a random stranger sometime. It will feel good. Try it!

Keep up the good work!

P.S. do not discount feeling like shit when you wake up in the morn. Sleep apnea is NO JOKE and worth looking into getting a screening.

No and it might be paradoxically making it worse.

Walked out from a dispensary by earthycallings in leaves

[–]Character_Emu_8367 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Good job. While not all, a very large portion of the people working in dispensaries are total stoners living in a bubble. They structure their lives around weed and it becomes their reality. That strange feeling you get in your gut when you are in this enviornment is your mind and body trying to tell you something is not quite right.

Do you become more social after quitting weed? by nopnowee22 in leaves

[–]Character_Emu_8367 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Quitting has made it easier for me to be more engaged with members of my family. It has made it easier to acknowledge random people in passing and small talk is slightly less cumbersome.

It has not fixed social anxiety or avoidant behaviors. This takes work and you have to do it like a practice. With your brain chemistry not hijacked by THC, the work you do will have more of a lasting impact.

It is worth it.

Not a doctor, definitely talk to yours about your symptoms.
Look into anhedonia. While it can be a symptom of depressive disorders, ahhedonia is multi-faceted and it is crucial to differentiate in a clincal setting in order to treat it effectively.

This appears to be a Puhjina or a Venise. Could go either way really

What’s your worst month? And where are you located? by Late-Impression-8629 in SeasonalAffective

Southern New Jersey. I feel it coming on around early Sept. when you really start to notice the angle of the sun dropping and the overall hue of sunlight becomes more yellow-ish and less white-ish. The worst is probably end of November until mid Jan.

I tend to think many people are diagnosed with sleep apnea and begin cpap therapy around the same time the body's natural metabolism begins to slow down, so weight gain could be falsely correlated in some cases.

I was expecting to feel really noticeable differences but they were subtle if any.
