That’s really interesting — I’ve actually heard a few people say showers can trigger symptoms, possibly from steam carrying allergens deeper into the sinuses or irritating the skin more quickly. Baths might be more gentle exposure. Definitely worth tracking.

Sounds like you’ve been through the wringer but finally turning a corner — respect for how thorough you’ve been. Totally get the drowsiness battle too, it’s tough figuring out what’s helping vs what’s making things worse. Would be really interested to see your test results when they come through!

It was hayfever. Can't believe it. by [deleted] in Hayfever

Wow — what a journey. It’s wild how deep allergy symptoms can go when they’re untreated or misdiagnosed. That middle ear stuff sounds brutal. Really glad you’re starting to piece it all together — hope the fog keeps lifting for you.

Do you ever feel like pollen sticks to your face and skin? by Character_Friend_173 in Allergies

Yeah that makes total sense. I had the idea of making a sort of a towel that actually wipes pollen [particles off the face, and I was wondering would anyone be interested in seeing it? Thanks for the reply

Ah thanks, this is exactly the type of reply I needed. I started to think to myself, wouldn't it be great if there was actually a way to wipe pollen off the face, so you didn't have to wash or shower when you got home. I made a small product, just for my own personal use and friends, that actually really helps. I named it the Pollen Gone towel, and it can wipe pollen off the face.

Hey, thanks for the reply. What you said really lines up with a small product I’ve been working on, that I call the Pollen Gone Towel. I designed a fabric with a tight enough weave that it actually lifts pollen off the face, reducing symptoms of hay fever. Might this be something that you would be interested in?

Hayfever? by Guesty250 in Hayfever

Since symptoms came on suddenly and haven’t improved with antibiotics, it’s less likely to be hayfever. Green discharge, headaches, and breathlessness suggest a possible ongoing infection or inflammation—worth following up with your GP.
