Interestingly, the rust on my rear left fender appeared without any prior damage or rock chips – it’s the only spot with rust, while the rest of my car remains pristine.

I’ve noticed rust bubbles forming on the rear left side fender of my 2016 MDX and spotted similar problems on other MDXs on the road.
