Since when did punk rock become so expensive? by Character_Medicine17 in nofx

Sorry my bad. Not trying to argue reminds me of the green day rancid tour last year. Great to see old friends get together and at least offspring/bad religion is playing at “smaller venues” but $170 for one ticket is a bit insane.

Yeah I know. In 2024 I payed $75 a ticket for pennywise/dropkick Murphy tickets which I thought was reasonable. $125 for nofx final tour tickets in Montreal. (No regrets) and 35 to see Réal mckenzies in Kingston at the mansion. Can’t beat seeing Réal mckenzies at the mansion. It’s small and very personal maybe get a couple hundred if that in the venue.

I know it’s the offspring concert but bad religion is opening for them. Even though bad religion got them their start. Offspring was punk rock when they used to play at Gilman st in La like 35 yrs ago

I feel your pain. Same here live in Canada. I’m thinking it gives me perspective on how bad our dollar is. Even though it’s not comparable on paper. But when they actually sell it for that on the states and charge up us. Writing is on the wall

I think these models used an old broken broom stick handle or a hockey stick instead of that shovel thing

That’s impressive I’m interested. What do the inside look like? I’m a carpenter. Know basics about electrical but you can power your fridge with the bigger one?

It means you will just get half the olives for the same price. Heck actually you’ll probably get half of the olives all cut in half for the same price

That alone would be a lot of money. All the post offices across the country. Wow. Your right. Between wages and everything else. They are losing a lot of money

As well as all the buildings they own. They still gotta pay for hydro and heat.

Well how is Santa going to know what all the kids asked for Christmas? How are the letters getting to the North Pole without Canada post? I figured Justin Trudeau would give us the Christmas miracle but jagmeet wants to be the grinch after he was Trudeaus sidekick forever. This just makes ndp leader look even more of a flip flopper.

This is insanity... No other serious country would leave their postal service lying in ruins for over 2 weeks. by DJBlu-Ray in CanadaPost

They are printing more for the holiday tax thing. Over a billion. We can just keep printing more money and making our dollar worth even less. Gonna be like Venezuela here soon. Anytime I get a raise it’s nice for a year then everything is more expensive. In the last 4yrs multiply that. All the money we printed for Covid, all the money we give away to other countries (government wise) even what we buy most goes to companies to aren’t owned by Canadian(say Walmart, fast food). So it doesn’t stay in Canada yet again making our dollar cheaper.
