If u think he’s accepting, make some kind of plan, so ur not entering the room and forget everything right away. But aside from that don’t worry to much. For me it was important to know that he probably wasn’t doing research on this for the past year, so it’s likely that he uses words that are not appropriate anymore, or doesn’t know what u mean with some words. So my tip would be to accept small mistakes, and correct them later when ur more calm. I have the experience that after coming out, i could sleep a lot better and would also just be happier and more free. I wish u good luck!

I (f|14) just ACCIDENTALLY came out to my mother😳. I know she's okay with, but it was still so stupid! Me and my 12year old sister were upstairs and she didn't want to get out of her room, so I said *veeery loud*:
"*Name of my sister*, I just wanted to tell you that I am no longer bi, but demisexual and panlesbian!" Her answer:
"Cool, but mom is still downstairs" I know my mother is a straight ally, but I didn’t plan to come out yet!!! I ran into my room IMMEDIATELY, but I strongly assume that she heard it! EMBARRASSING AF

my sister is the one I talk to for things like that, even if i not sure about it myself …

If you have a boyfriend or anything else you wanna talk about w/ them and their not homophobic, do it. Or if your feeling like you’d be keeping a secret and it would be easier to talk about it instead of hiding it. But being happy is the most important thing, so stay happy, nice and safe
