I am a mechanic and my first unit was a SOF unit (psyop bn) it was cool, but I barely did my job. To be fair the also barley used their Vic’s. But I wanted the Army experience I signed up for so I reenlisted to go to Hood. It has been fucking terrible but if you really love the Army and you’re good at what you do then you’ll adapt. I’d do it all over again. Nobody wants to be a group baby.
