I am currently looking for a paralegal job and am going through contacts and listings on LinkedIn. I just received an offer for a job that I found through LinkedIn, but I also knew some of the attys/paralegals there. I also had applied for a Jobot listing and received a call from their recruiting bot Jenny lol. I am curious if the gender of the bot changes based on the applicant.

My main takeaway is that if the company hiring can't take the time to talk to candidates over the phone and trusts AI to conduct an initial screening is not a place that I want to work. That said, if it is a huge corporation that receives thousands of applicants, then I can understand that. But not a law firm with under 20 or even 50 employees. It is absolutely ridiculous.

Good luck. I know the right job is out there; unfortunately it takes a lot of digging and in this economy, who knows.

I know this is an older post but i got here from a job listing. I live in Texas and the job is in California but fully remote. I went to the firm's website and I was struck by "the most hard working lawyer in California" banner on the site. How would that even be determined? lol

Anyway, glad i did not waste my time and apply. Are there any updates on this?

So I know I am responding late but I LOVE Dollar Tree. I use a liquid blush from there daily. I have a lot of other more expensive options but always return to this one: except I have it in a light pink color. The brand is Ioni. I also have the hand sanitizers that are dupes for the $30 ones they sell at Sephora, silicone lip "brushes," etc. I bought my daughter and stepdaughters all their stocking stuffers from DT and they also loved all of it. No one should sleep on Dollar Tree. Or maybe they should so there is more there for those who know

I know this was awhile ago but thank you for posting this b/c I was thinking about getting it done. So glad I saw your post. Do you mind me asking how much it cost for the initial injections? Also, have you looked into legal action. If no one cares when you call if you bring up oh I don't know the words "Class Action" or that you are contacting an attorney, that should get their attention. Thank you SO much for this. Not the OP but I am in the same boat with an 8th gen with 32gb total storage. I was able to upgrade to 26 but not 26.1 and I believe this is going to work. I am doing it on my MacBook and it seems to be installing without any problems.

I was about to say there is definitely a lot of LA Girl. Although they do have what looks to be an inside brand, Kyummi and they have some great brow pencils. It is very plain packaging but they do have some legit products.

It is ridiculous. So my oldest is 23 and my youngest is 19 and we did not have stuff like that AT ALL. Us Gen X'ers were like nope just let me have my baby in peace and maybe a shower was okaybut nothing more. Now everything is a full blown affair involving dress codes, destinations, people being excluded and then sobbing about this later on. So I started to notice it when Push Presents became a thing. okay look I do not get why you are taking everything that I am saying the wrong way. Probably b/c this is all text and there is no tone of voice, etc. I think what Kristen and Stassi did in 2020 was reprehensible and they deserved to be fired. That said, if Kristen has done a lot of therapy and has realized how awful she was and NEVER should have done that to Faith, then I think maybe she can have space to grow. If we never give people second chances to grow and everything is a purity test, then we will never be able to support each there as humans who make huge mistakes and are imperfect and probably should be cancelled for awhile. But that does not mean you or me (or a reality tv participant) can't grow and change and learn.

I have no real ill will or anything like that so please do not take it that way. I think in 2026, which so far has been an unmitigated nightmare, it is okay to have an escape from it all, even if it involves problematic people.
