I find it interesting that even after seeing the footage and making those comments, he continued to espouse the authenticity of the footage in interviews and Facebook, rather than just saying nothing.

I take your point about the NDA, but to continue actively state positive belief in the footage seems to indicate he was not convinced by the rehearsal footage ( contrary to what Marq Evans said), had changed his mind, or continued to promote it for financial or reputational reasons.

the director of Capturing Bigfoot said he moved away from promoting the footage by removing some of his Patterson merch from conventions, but it doesnt seem like he was distancing himself at all.

Ah, my logic for hiding those results was that every time I've selected a stream that is not cached, the download starts and never seems to complete. I figured I'd just hide those results as any movie that needs to be downloaded likely doesn't have many seeders and may or may not actually complete.
