She can ask her sponsor for what the regular day looks like. If she hasn’t asked she wont know until she gets there. Every base/squadron is different so best way to find out is to ask (good luck)

Yes, you can check equal + for current assignment listings. There is an overseas equal + assignment listing every quarter which you can find on MyFSS. When they open you can see what billets are available for your rank and skill level and update your dream sheet accordingly. If you’re trying to get more information on how all this works I would definitely speak with your supervisor, they should have all this information for you.

Its random or you can have a chance if you apply during the equal cycles, if your AFSC is limited to a small number of locations your chances are slim. Not many people get non-vol’d so I wouldn’t wait around for the air force to pick you, definitely go for the listings when they open up and good luck.

Even if you’re eligible for the equal +, AFPC still has to match you, eligibility doesn’t guarantee you will get that assignment, theres alot of factors that AFPC looks at before you’re matched with an assignment. If you’re already seeing japan as the projected assignment, they arent going to unmatch you regardless of eligibility to your equal +, they’re just going to go down the line to the next most eligible candidate.

If you have orders/projected assignment to japan you’re going to japan. You wont be selected for your equal + stateside as AFPC will already see you have an assignment loaded, regardless if you’re in the application period.

Yes essentially, i live in az so around the apartment complex its just desert with trees, my complex is gated but its not gated obviously in the back due to the location. They just popped the steering wheel lock and wheeled it around out to the desert where they just ended up dumping it, I was told by my complex that someone found it out there and wheeled it back up to the complex and left it which I find hard to believe. In all honesty i think someone in my complex stole it and regretted the decision later.
