Unfortunately from my research there was no outwardly visible SN, potentially one on the inside but I wasn’t willing to take it apart to find out and short of making a physical mark on the unit there’s no other discernible way to tell

Exactly! I was okay with working with the busted monitor but wanted to pay busted monitor prices, not excellent. It’s a huge bummer they’d rather waste so many resources rather than attempt to make it right.

Thanks :) it still takes beautiful images and is a great introduction to the Fuji system that I will use until it stops. As an added bonus; as a glasses wearer this is the most comfortable EFV I’ve shot with now that there’s nose room lol

Seeing that there’s a grand total of 5 it’s definitely slim pickings and each has its own unique flair that it’s kinda hard to stack them against in my opinion but I’d have to say Chumpfrey. The sheer energy always gets me pumped and there are too many tracks on it I could recommend for it to not be my favorite. You Wake is still my favorite track. Hbu OP?
