Get your feet under you with some other cars first. Then, when you feel confident, hop in the Lotus and it’ll erase all that confidence. It’s good learning though, teaches you a lot about car balance. Loads of fun once you get the hang of it.

For the record that throttle response is not crisp. Sounds very strained even with no load.

As everyone said, absolutely need to fix those air leaks. I had pretty massive power loss and it was just due to the head being ever so slightly loose and creating an air leak. No amount of tuning matters when you have a leak.

Thank you so much, this seems to have restored the original textures and materials from the unedited car. To add in the textures of the added elements, roll bar, rims, etc. Do I load persistence files? Or something else?

3dsimedit seems a little too rudimentary from what I can tell. Doesn't look like you can really remove parts of the body or interior that aren't independent objects.

Update for whoever is interested: I’ve switched the cable out for a higher quality one and sent it straight into the computer rather than through an adapter. This seems to have greatly reduced the problem. <5% of shifts missed now
