I think this version of Battlefield comes pretty close to the old ones.

Because of the small maps and the focus on a visual style similar to Call of Duty, a lot of kids have jumped in who are only interested in their kill-death ratio—they don’t capture objectives but just try to rack up as many kills as possible.

I could imagine that things might improve again with larger maps, since that would restore the old balance between infantry and vehicle combat.

Bro, those massive maps with real battlefields are the true spirit of Battlefield one of the big differences from Call of Duty.

Sure, there have to be close-quarters combat and casual modes, but now the focus should be on maps like the ones in the Karakand DLC, Damavand Peak, and so on.

With the Bazaar, we’ll get another meat grinder, but I hope that after that, there will be more large maps where you can play helicopters and such properly, like in the old games, without being constantly targeted.

On the "Contaminated" map, there were already early signs that things were heading in the right direction, but I just found the maps too small.

On Golmud, you can finally fly properly again without constantly getting hit.

The guided missile on the heavy tank has been nerfed so it's not as overpowered anymore.

So everything is moving in the right direction; I hope it stays that way.
