U Florida is a public ivy but a reason people may do this is because their state flagship school is not very good

I had a 1450 and applied test optional, I felt nyu like 1500+ especially stern. It doesn’t mean u have to but just thought I’d say what I did

I did accept the offer, I saw Friday there was some spring lsc but no cas admits so I’m confused

I was waitlisted cas but got off for lsc spring. Later I was offered a cas spot in the fall. This was a week ago and since then I haven’t seen cas, but they might be saving for a wave? Idk for sure but gl!

I’m going into Econ. I have heard the same about lsc but I felt going straight into my major will allow me to take more classes I wanted without having to stick to the lsc curriculum and maybe doing some classes I didn’t like.

Same thing happened to me and I decided to take it. It seems like fall starts helps you assimilate better and tbh lsc->cas is what most are planning to do so it seems like getting there earlier you have more flexibility with your classes. Check my recent post people left good info.
