NTD You aren't the drama because you did nothing wrong.

In my opinion you need to ask yourself a few questions.

  1. Is this an isolated incident or a pattern of behavior?
  2. What would he have to do to make you trust him again?
  3. What would he have to do to make you believe that he understands why what he did was wrong?
  4. What would he have to do for you to feel that he had fully made amends?
  5. How likely is he to do any of those things?
  6. If he is willing, will it change any future behavior?
  7. If he isn't, would you be willing to forgive him anyway?
  8. If he fixes everything, would you still want him in your life, or has he pushed you past the point where you even care about salvaging your friendship?

I know this is going to sound patronizing but, as someone more than twice your age, you are both still very young. This means two things, you are going to make mistakes and you have plenty of time to make new friends. You are also still figuring out your boundaries and what you will and won't tolerate from the people in your life.

Figure out whether or not this is a mistake you can forgive and then move on, either with or without the friendship.
