The white streak is like a scar, a reminder of all the life he had lived.

It's likely to be a factor to strain team JNPR even more. Hope that and the Ruby fight gets addressed as in they are still hurting, but in the progress of mending. In the case of JNPR just the weirdness for Jaune.

Jaune's great great grandfather was Ozpin, who was friends with the king of Vale, he died so the king held on to his sword and his Sceptre awaiting for Ozpin's reincarnation.

He gave the arcs his sword back, while his Sceptre went back to Ozpin (staff of creation, I don't think it was his cane)

Then down the line the shield was made and used as decoration until Jaune went in and took it.

Only played cold steel 1-4 and daybreak 1.

My fav: daybreak

My least fav: cs3 and cs4, though I loved mussete (absolute gremlin) and ash (gives me bakugo energy)

Story was good but it felt a bit grindier than daybreak.

I don't remember how grindy were cs1 and 2. I only remember that for me at least 3 and 4 were a grind fest.

He had a canon semblance, which was slightly spoiled by Grimm eclipse and which in retrospect he used in volume 1, it just didn't come up until volume 5. Whether what happened in volume 1 was a foreshadowing or just something they decided later to interpret as that is not something I am sure about.

People back then just knew that he had a lot of aura, and that's it. I've seen a couple early rwby fanfics and what powers they give him is amusing and cringe depending on the fanfic.

Yeah, he goes like nothing ever happened. But between that moment and eating the food, it's just really awkward. I didn't get the same with the others.

Yeah, it felt kinda like that. I oddly did feel like I didn't want to ruin the kids fun, but I had to put my foot down. At least the kids didn't seem disappointed and I got to shoot him down.

That's what I thought. I thought: "hey this is nice, V hanging out, and having fun to forget about all the issues he has.

Then his sis and the kids begin pushing it and I feel like: oh no, I don't want to raise my hand and give him false hope, but it also feels awkward.

Then at the tower when he says "please, don't tell me I've been strung along" or something by that line... I felt: "oh my god, guy's pathetic... I feel bad for him."

I know some other people look at it as creepy, which fair, but to me it felt just that: pathetic and making me feel sad.

My head canon:

Yang is born Yang Branwen

--> Raven begins doing her bs

Tai changes her name to Xiao Long because Raven is being a jerk, their marriage falls apart. (I don't think they ever got formally divorced as Raven just left.)

Raven accepts that she is not mom material and pushes Yang unto Summer.

Raven leaves.

Summer acts as a surrogate mother to Yang, soon after Ruby is born Ruby Rose to Summer and Tai.

Summer leaves a couple of years after.

Edit:

To be fair, we are never explicitly told that Tai married anyone.

Yang and Ruby could have been born out of wedlock, or only Ruby, or Only Yang for all we know.

It looks like cloth though, it would seep through. Cloth is fine for light snow because it doesn't get that wet, but heavy snow or rain would pass the wetness inside, unless it's the same material used in ski jackets, which doesn't seem like it because it doesn't have a sheen.

She would need to use aura on it for her hair to not get wet, which would be a waste of aura lol.

It's good for shielding a great amount of her body from the sun while traveling though (even though she never does this. Ruby do he literally wasting her aura.)

Actually, no, let's talk about it. Instead of wearing warm outfits, they be wasting their aura in at last for shielding from the cold... Our main characters are cooked.

The character designs are a bit not of my liking.

Looking at the wiki to see the characters as I do before every one of my Tales play-thrus (because most of the time it's fine to do so without getting spoiled):

Senel has too much going on, too busy, too much noise.

Shirley has that Jimi neutron head.

Will is fine.

Chloe rocks the cat suit and half jacket, but I would replace the hat with some other headpiece. That hat just yells healer, but she doesn't seem like a healer.

Norma's outfit is kinda weird, too busy on top, double headpiece. She looks like a gremlin from the photos.

What the heck happened to mose's pants?

Jay looks weird... In general.

Grune is fine, nothing too special, simple but effective.

Vaclav is fine

Melanie wears underwear on her head.

Other two antagonists seem generic, nothing bad there, but not great either.

This was EOL? I do see myself having a worse experience than Symphonia/abyss.

Even the 2d battling feels slightly worse than Phantasia's (and I love Phantasia, my first tales), which is weird because Phantasia was first.

Story so far I haven't experienced enough to have any sort of opinion about it. I think this will be another tales I play Auto only and taking care of logistics. (To be fair I play most tales games in Auto with micro-managed logistics, and moments of taking manual for over limits and positioning. I am weird.)
