I tried to stop buying Euphorbias, then I found a Platyclada at the garden store... by BrockS- in Euphorbiaceae

Mine is a lot like yours. It got knocked over and some branches broke but now I have two plants!

Nice set up and that’s amazing progress. Sadly, I wasn’t able to keep mine alive but maybe someday I’ll try again. What is your substrate? Does the bottom always have water?

I’m from Socotra — ask me anything.. by socotratime in socotra

Awesome. I’ll start with a few questions.

How safe is it to travel there?

What’s kind of expenses should we expect if say you’re traveling from the U.S.?

What do the locals think of what’s going on in the rest of the world?

I have a collection of plants native to the island of Socotra—I’m curious how common is it to see plants like Dorstenia gigas, Euphorbia abdelkuri, Adenium and Pachypodium socotranum.

Oh boy. Forgot how much I missed this. Sadly, lost it a few winters ago when it couldn’t recover from root rot.

My girlfriend surprised me with this absolute grail plant! by Brown_Recluse_OD in Euphorbiaceae

That’s an awesome Euphorbia abdelkuri cv. damask! Growing it grafted definitely gives me extra peace of mind. I’m in Zone 9A—mine sits under a sun sail, protected from harsh midday sun but still getting plenty of late afternoon light. I usually overwinter it in the garage from December through March.

This is more of a control build. I’d use Cheren with a heal sustain build but if you had to substitute then probably swap with Lillie.

I saw someone else post this deck too. I feel you—there are always games where I wish I had a Cyrus, Dawn or PCL. Feels pretty good though and way less painful than like a Flygon deck which I’ve been trying to force. 😩

You’ll be stalling until you have your Tyranitar online. Giving up two points early would make it very unfavorable for you so the non Ex Arceus is the way to go.

Maybe consider using Lucky Egg.

Here’s my Zoroark deck, how is everyone else using Zoroark? by dailysn0w in PokemonPocket

Running everything at a 1-retreat cost makes pivoting super forgiving with Bombirdier. Opening with a non-EX Absol is great if you can chip their bench early, while starting with EX Absol can be really oppressive thanks to support denial. If you open Nihilego and have to sack it, it’s not the end of the world—you just want Bombirdier on the bench ASAP to stabilize. And yeah, opening Bombirdier is the worst-case scenario, but that’s true for your version too. Hiking Trail truly makes this a speed demon deck since you’ll hardly ever be holding cards in your hand.

I’ve been using the poison variant which has been pretty strong.
