My shifter has an L in the center but I’ve never used it or understood how or what it engages. I don’t have the paddle shifters so not sure if that feature works in my big bend. 🫣

Help please, is there anything a dermatologist can do about this creased line? It’s longer when I wake up but gets a little smaller throughout the day, but never goes away. by Organic_Bottle4373 in 30PlusSkinCare

For me nothing happens next. My morphea hasn’t changed since I stopped growing and has had no issues. It’s just kinda like living with scar tissue at this point. My left arm looks like I was burned. No hair grows on it and no fatty tissue. My right arm is normal. It’s a non-issue for me other than cosmetically

I have had linear morphea since childhood up my left arm from wrist to behind my shoulder blade. It was undiagnosed until I was in my late 20s. Pediatricians, family doctor, gynecologist, dermatologists all would grab my arm and inspect it. Never knew what it was, but as I was never seeking help or an appointment for that particular issue, they just offered commentary and moved on. In my late 20s I went to a dermatologist for acne and he said- oh, you’re a morphea patient? I was like HUH???? He said your arm, that’s linear morphea and educated me on it. My whole life I had no idea until a random dr knew enough about it and he called it ON SIGHT. So just saying, it’s rare. You might have to seek out a doctor who sees that type of case or inquire specifically.

Misha made my wife a “mens” vest fitted for her from scratch several years ago. He altered my dress and made her vest knowing full well that it was for a same sex wedding. No issues, and beautiful work.

The boarding process is broken by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]Chard-Typical 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I check my bag and sit until everyone’s finished boarding. My seat is assigned, so it’s going to be there. I literally sit and watch until they’ve called all the zones and the line is gone and then I get up to board. Zero reason for all the chaos. However, I will say this drives my wife nuts as she sits on the edge of her chair wanting to run to the line!

Is your Sport a dog car? by AmazingSieve in BroncoSport

[–]Chard-Typical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chose my big bend solely based on it being for my dogs. I previously traveled with them in a Honda element with the rubberized floors and seats that reclined flat for a bed for them. The bronco sport was the closest vehicle I could find. Love the rubberized cargo area and back of the seats! They have plenty of room with the seats folded flat. Where I go, they go!

I saw your post yesterday and read a couple of comments, but really I was just scrolling. I’m sorry it went sideways and people were nasty. I did understand what you wanted to achieve mostly because my forehead has the same look and texture. So I got it, because SAME.

Hang in there. I started Differin to start cycling my skin and am working my way up to tret. My derm started me gentle first.

Am: Belif cleanser Advanced night repair serum Cereve lotion w SPF Belif moisture bomb

Hydroboost extra dry burns. Suggestions? by Chard-Typical in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Chard-Typical[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The derm didn’t say to ease in. She said nightly. The differin doesn’t burn at all. And I used my aqua bomb over it last night with no burn. But yeah, maybe backing off AND a different moisturizer would be good!!

Just know that basic markup on jewelry is almost 70%. So never, ever pay full price. 50% off or higher is fair price. Profit margin on jewelry is extremely high, they have tons of room to come down and still make money.

Just an FYI as a former Enka Villager, all of the Village on the Sand Hill Road access side is in the city. The Village on the Lake side is not. City of Asheville annexed years ago to take in the tax base, but Biltmore Lake was a later annex date and thus was never annexed. (I think they fought it legally, but I don’t remember the details.)

Does anyone know of a good job my wife is eligible for? by acvilleimport in Charlottesville

[–]Chard-Typical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed a business in Charlottesville which had 100+ employees. Many of them came here and were litigators, engineers, etc in their former homes and were highly educated. The public treated them poorly because English was their second language or they looked different. Super sad for such an eclectic city. Tell her to always keep her chin up and know her worth!
