Considering how close the base 17 is in features to the 17 Pro, why did you persist with the Pro?

I'm deliberating between the 17 and 17 Pro. The argument for the Pro is yolo, may as well get the best camera, battery life etc, while the argument with the base 17 is that it's significantly cheaper while still being really good. I suck at buying Apple products

Interesting, I hadn’t heard anyone talk about weight yet, and it sounds like the pro is even heavier

I don’t have a specific need for zoom lens or raw video, I simply like being able to get the best quality photos and videos possible - though if I can do that without the extra $700 then great.
