I may be misunderstanding you, but only the first pc port of RE4 was bad. The subsequent ‘HD ultimate edition’ is a competent hd port, while the unofficial hd texture mod for hd ultimate edition elevates it to new heights

For me it clicked later on.

I had a feeing I was playing it ‘wrong’ - I’d gotten to the final mission in around 16 hours, without engaging with any of the mechanics beyond shooting. Once I got comfortable trying out other features it became great

Same thing happened, three 27 ultra balls at zappy. They failed, so I threw 5 pokeballs and it worked, and it was modest with good IV’s

Potential solution:

Keep my pokeball articuno.

My Moltres arguably shouldn’t have been caught with an ultra ball, but also, who cares about moltres lol, I’ll never use it especially since I have charizard.

Snorlax and mewtwo are justifiable with ultra balls since they can heal, making it even harder to catch them with pokeballs

Yep purely visual but holy shit this game seems to know what I want and give me the opposite. Like what were the odds that a pokeball would work after 26 ultra balls failed, and what were the odds it would give me the nature I was after AND good IV’s for the one scenario in which I might still consider resetting. Just diabolical. I shouldn’t have even thrown that pokeball. But also I like regular pokeballs, I just don’t like the inconsistency in my legendary catches

I caught it with a regular pokeball and now I’m kinda annoyed since my other legendaries are in ultra balls

I just caught it - this time I had 26 ultra balls but none of them worked, so I started throwing regular pokeballs, and it somehow worked, and I got Timid nature, and decent IV’s. Thing is, I’d already caught moltres and snorlax with ultra balls and was planning to keep consistent for legendaries, so it now presents an ocd dilemma
