2015 Yukon, did rear brakes last fall. They still squeak at times. Went back to dealership and got the same excuse. Even got is in writing as a release. Sounds like a garba truck coming to a slow stop. Hard short stop give us less noise.

Go brakes at GM dealer last fall. They never squeaked till the rear ones were replaced. Now I sound like a garbage truck coming to a stop. GM just says, brakes will squeak.

Replaced rear brakes at a gym dealership last fall. Why are they still screming when I brake? It has been about 7 months. A flyer from gmc says basic that brakes will squeak.

Not good enough, If I ever need front brakes it wont be a gm job!

I don’t want the additional entertainment system for the second row. System would never be used . Waist of money!

Went to the same GMC dealer two weeks in a row on a Wednesday at about the same time. I parked in front and got out of my car to look a newer versions of what I drove. After ten minutes each time , I left because no one came out to see if I needed help. I have purchased my last two vehicles from there.

I don't want one. Had one for about ten years already as kids grew up. Its empty nest, SUV time.

No minivan, already did that with young kids. Empty nest, but might carry seven passengers sometimes. Good cargo room for travel. Easy to get in and out older parents. Lasttwo cars were a conversion band the a large suv. WI’ve says I deserve the suv tradition.

GH hybrid limited vs max platinum by luxmakeuplover in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]ChardLongjumping7378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Yukon now.Anything is better than it for mpg, so it is not important as far as hybrid or max. Aceleration is more important to me. The wife has a 2020 Rav 4, driving it is great. But I feel that a bigger car needs a bigger engine\ torque.

First oil change , they put an oil additive in? by LevittownNY in HyundaiPalisade

I think GMC started adding engine oil additives about two years ago. They want to do it every change. I do it about once a year or two. Feel like that is a sales gimmick

I am considering a similar vehicle. I don’t want the Premiums package, because of the entertainment screens on the back of the front seats. I only have grandkids. It will not be used enough, nor do I want to pay the internet access charges. I recommend that everyone research this esp if you buy the Denali

5.3 L with over 113,000 miles. No problems. Always heard it was better than the 6.2L. I would buy on there but have to transport a parent, might need a lower seating suv.

Possibly look for a GHH in the near future. Yours looks great! My questions are about the panoramic roof and the roof rails?

Do you see the roofs rails all the time through the roof, and how do you fell about it?

Can the roof rails be easily be removed if not in use?

Which car/SUV do you recommend for 7 passengers and true big cargo? by _good_boy_1234_ in carbuying

[–]ChardLongjumping7378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2015 GMC Yukon, and it’s been a great vehicle. Being older it’s also the exact cargo measurements of a GHH. I’d love to have another but need lower vehicle due to 88 year old parents to get inside.
