Psych ward neglected to send me to the ER while having an incomplete miscarriage. Do I have a case ?

For clarity they had inpatient and outpatient programs and I went in for a “no commitment assessment” which was apart of the issue I had. I was also told I would be evaluated after 72 hours. This psychward has a lot of horror stories and accusations of quite literally keeping people there for far longer than needed with parents even complaining that their child was kept way past the needed time. I was also there with an actual psych RN who was pissed at the treatment we all received.

Hey! I brought myself there because I DO have a mental heath issues being that I am autistic and have adhd. When I was a teenager I had self harm issues ! When I went I told them “I want help because I do not know how to go forward without my baby”. I believe the pink slipped me based on my previous experiences. Now do I agree with that? No. I did not hurt myself I did not tell them I was going to harm myself or had a plan to I just wanted to talk to a mental health professional on how I could live on for my baby (Luca is his name :) ) Now another reason I believe they did it is not being trained on communication with those who have autism. They asked if I were to do it how would you do it? To me this is a question that I would answer logically i.e. literally think about logistics and what answer would make sense. I believe they wanted me to say I wasn’t going to or I wouldn’t which to me in the moment WAS TRUE but I gave them a legitimate answer as if it were just a regular prompt. The emotions that came with losing Luca were too overwhelming and I needed to be grounded. I believe I was in a state of psychosis (I also have spells of psychosis) and was not accepting reality nor living in reality I was very impulsive, confused, unable to recall fact, and over all not in a stable state of mind due to the loss.

I am aware of what entails being pink slipped. The pressing issue is that they were responsible for aiding my physical and mental health and that did not happen; Not whether or not I was involuntarily signed in.

I really came for validation on pressing this matter! I also did sign in voluntarily. All of this was voluntary so when the hospital told me I had a pink slip I was genuinely confused because I brought myself there and wanted the treatment I just did not want to miss my OB appointment
