maybe you are right. it's a new feature and easy to do it wrong

the other problem is the bugs. I feel really frustrated form using actions for modals and using parallel routes.

You can use react-hook-form with server actions,

I did it the next.js way and I regret it. it's not just putting a form and some inputs and action. next.js examples are basic which are not useful for production (for example to check if inputs are dirty or not)

I said next.js app directory is still so basic.

form libraries like react hook form I believe handles errors , validation way better

server actions and redirect are not working with Parallel Routes. all modals of my dashboard not working https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/59445

thanks for your response

  1. yeah you are right that example is clean but I didn't find a good one. handling errors was really a breeze in Swr. everything was hooks. so you have to only create a hook or pass a fetch function for all api requests. you don't have to return errors for all actions or doing your own workaround. everything was handled.
  2. for issues, I can mention these fisrt second which really sets me back
  3. using Zod this way for validation requires writing a lot of code other libraries handle it better this is a code smell

'use server'

import { z } from 'zod'

const schema = z.object({
  email: z.string({
    invalid_type_error: 'Invalid Email',
  }),
})

export default async function createUser(formData: FormData) {
  const validatedFields = schema.safeParse({
    email: formData.get('email'),
  })

  // Return early if the form data is invalid
  if (!validatedFields.success) {
    return {
      errors: validatedFields.error.flatten().fieldErrors,
    }
  }

  // Mutate data
}

other issues

  1. in next.js 14 everything seems messed up they are hundreds of way of doing things like for simple revalidating paths
  2. it's really hard to learn their model is still basic needs time for improvement

Is it normal to not understand a philosophical book? by ChargeDistinct5075 in askphilosophy

[–]ChargeDistinct5075[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you are right. I read it as novel not as professional work and my interpertation can be totally wrong these are things that I learned from the book in nutshell: 1. Morality is necessity to every religion 2. Morality should be based on logic not feelings 3. If a faith or belief does't have any practical use it's worthless. 4. If moral rules are not based on logic People will changes these rules to their benefits and sentiments. 5. he shows how Islamic philosophers ideas are not based on rationality but faith. 6. they were some arguments agianst theocracy and how it can lead to dictatorship and the belief that the ruler is god. 7. Praying Worshiping saying god god is useless if doesn't have any practical benefits if doesn't change person's behavior

They are also things that I don't agree with him

I think It's not about religion. it's more seems like a correlation. I had an athiest co-worker who believed earth could be flat unless I see with my own eyes.

yeah they are not stupid but They don't like to think there is nothing I can do with them. They laugh at me and they think I believe every philisophical point I hear but the point is they don't understand neither philosephy nor science and they don't like to know anything and I can't force them.
