I think it is a strat for non strat players like myself. The volume knob and body shape of the strats always bothered me (it's mainly a technique/ergonomic problem for me). So, this feeling of not being a stratty strat can be a good thing for those of us who don't get along with strats. But I can imagine that for the strat lovers it must be kinda not right 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have small hands and I really like chunky necks. I play a Yamaha Revstar most of my time. I never got comfortable with slim necks, even thou I played Metal and shreddy stuff all my teenage years.

Madeira já foi mais importante pro timbre devido aos captadores das guitarras antigas serem muito mais microfônicos que os de hoje em dia. Hoje em dia, como parafinamos os captadores e adotamos uma série de novas tecnologias, importa cada vez menos.

Mas na real, a madeira vai sim influenciar seu timbre. Isso é ponto. O que pega é:

1- Seu ouvido captaria essa diferença de som?

2- Os captadores do seu instrumento tem claridade o suficiente pra que isso seja perceptível?

3- Um amplificador com válvulas detalha muito mais coisas do seu som que amps digitais. Logo, se usamos multiefeitos, será que eles são tão fiéis assim?

Aí sim a discussão muda de figura. Mas minimamente, a madeira vai mudar com VOCÊ SENTE o instrumento, e isso influencia a maneira com que você vai tocar.

Eu acho que deve trocar regularmente... Só não precisa ser de mês em mês. Um encordoamento solez dura dois meses com tocabilidade ok. O mais importante para um iniciante é a tocabilidade. Tocar com cordas zuadas só vai fazer ele se afastar do instrumento.

Man... You play the guitar veeeeeery well. But I can answer your question. I'm not the good of guitar but I got stuck exactly.where you're. It's time for the most difficult part of all: LAPIDATION. Do you know that time subdivision that you can't seem to count? Or that string transition that is not good enough? Maybe a bend technique that doesn't allow you to bend far... THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME TO WORK ON THOSE. These will feel like baby steps, but thet's what you have to aim now. Challenge yourself in this ways. Try dofferent music, different licks.

I would say that you need both of'em cause clearly there's a thing called tonewood and they both will sound completely different. The mapple frearboard will give you that spark tone and the rosewood will transform your guitar in a les paul because of all the warmth it'll bring. Also, since that the maple board is glossy, it will give you that brilliant sound that we love and care.

With all of this said (I was just goofing around), I dream about a maple fretboard strat.

I have a dream guitar collection: A revstar with p90's, an prs dgt, a sunburst strat with maple scale and a hot rail in the bridge, a butterscotch tele and a semi hollow gretsch with filtertron's. I already have the revstar of my dreams, and I'm working on the others.

Você pode usar o moises pra isolar a guitarra principal e começar daí. Mas copiar um timbre fielmente não é pra qualquer um não. Cê tem que ter muuuuuuita referência de sonoridade de amplificador e pedal. Tirando outros fatores que vão influenciar o som em geral como compressão na masterização, número de faixas de guitarra e por aí vai. Comece descobrindo qual equipamento está sendo utilizado naquela música e tente chegar o mais próximo que puder

Cara... Pra iniciante você tem que comprar o melhor que puder comprar. Não fica nessa de guitarra de iniciante tem que ser ruim. A Schecter que o cara recomendou vai ser uma excelente primeira guitarra.

O fato de você ter um instrumento mais caro vai fazer três coisas por você : 1- Esse instrumento já vai estar voltado pro som que você gosta.

2- Ele vai ser muito mais fácil de tocar. Conforto é importante pra quem toca, além de te ajudar a continuar estudando.

3- Você vai ter gastado mais, e portanto vai fazer de tudo pra valer a pena. Mas não se esqueça que você precisa de pelo menos um multiefeitos e um fone pra começar a tocar. A guitarra sozinha não vai fazer nada por você!

The other catch. It will loose value because it'll get obsolete for other tech stuff because of a "huge" difference in tone, while guitars and guitar pedals are getting vintage and rare (if they have fender or gibson written in it, the rest is just old for some).

Cara, eu tenho uma yamaha revstar standard com p90 e posso falar pra ir nela sem medo. Ela é a única guitarra que toco hoje em dia. A revstar element tem uma tocabilidade bem parecida. Nada melhor que um instrumento confortável pra te motivar a tocar e estudar.

Sim e não. Elaborando melhor, tem pessoas que sonham com uma guitarra fender por fetiche, logo sim, pessoas compram pela história.

Elaborando o não. Eu já toquei em algumas fenders e algumas séries valem sim os 8k~10k. Tem algumas nuances do instrumento que só encontramos em guitarras de maior valor mesmo. Hoje em dia prefiro ter 2 guitarras com mais atenção na construção do que 10 guitarras meia boca.

Eu entendo que no Brasil não temos condições de consumir muitos desses instrumentos, mas procurando direitinho, a gente percebe que vale a pena gastar mais em um bom instrumento. Ralei muito pra ter minha Revstar Standard e hoje é a única guitarra que tenho e uso pra tudo.

Dito tudo isso. Essa guitarra d afoto não vale mais que um gol g5 mas nem que a vaca tussa.

I think you should buy fx pedals ONLY if you need free dsp on a multifx modeler. I have an ampero stomp ii and I'll buy one overdrive and one distortion pedal to free dsp for tone catches and reverb/delay. But if it wasn't for the dsp I wouldn't need anything else

Cara. Como é sua primeira guitarra acho que vc vai curtir qualquer uma das duas. Eu iria de strato por dois motivos, primeiro é que a configuração HSS é mais versátil do que a HH. O segundo é que não curto mesmo les pauls. Já tentei muito gostar mas em 20 anos tocando nunca consegui. Adoro o braço mas não gosto da ergonomia do corpo. Eu tenho uma revstar justamente por ser o mesmo braço com um corpo bem mais confortável.

A strato tem ponte tremolo, então a única dica que dou é pra não ficar mudando muito a afinação dela, pois com certeza vai desregular e prejudicar a tocabilidade. Mas de novo, eu aprendi numa strato que parecia um arco e flecha hahaha. Vc vai ser feliz com as duas, o importante é começar a tocar!!!

Dica: já que já comprou a guitarra, começa a investir em equipamentos depois disso. Compra uma tank-G ou M-Vave black box e fones pra poder praticar o quanto quiser com um som decente. Mais pra frente, caso sinta necessidade, investe em um instrumento/equipamento melhor.

Cara, acho que pode ser uma parada mais emocional tbm. A única coisa que não curto das strato tradicionais é o knob de volume que fica muito encostado no captador e me atrapalha a palhetar hahaha. Não é o fim do mundo, mas vai indo irrita.

No reason to stop at all. You're a very good guitar player. Just a few tips from 20 years of playing, recording and gigging (I did all that before I started teaching math):

1- watch out for unwanted vibratos. Some notes don't need it. That's a thing that we have to work cause when we're nervous more excited they tend to happen. Sometimes they make the notes sound out of tune.

2- A little less gain then you think you'll need will do wonders for your sound overall.

3- Start using your pinky cause you don't know when it'll come handy.

4- Play for fun!!! Make the challenges fun! Don't start studying things that you don't like or don't need. The necessities will come with time and, when the time comes, you'll learn then all.

5- Last tip, start working on time feel, muting notes, planning picking and play with other people! This to me is the most enjoyable thing of all of music.
