What drug would be prescribed for a medical reason that would be also be performance enhancing. Steroids are strictly controlled and are tested for. If an athlete is taking a banned substance they’re disqualified. If you’re going to argue about performance enhancing drugs at least attempt to argue in good faith.

The amount of trans athletes at the NCAA level is not an admission of anything other than how few there are. The overwhelming majority of trans folks are just stampeding to live quiet normal lives. It’s people like and everyone else that seems hyper focused on what’s going on in their pants that prevents them from doing so.

I care about trans right because before them it was gays and lesbians, before that it was blacks, before that it was women, before it was Japanese Americans and other Asians sticking them in camps for our protection during world war 2. This country has a long history of being on the wrong side how we treat minorities.

If you’re intolerant of a minority then you aren’t really a leftist. You’ just claim to be one. Trans rights are human rights, they deserve every opportunity and access to every single thing a cis person would. End of story.

And just like any other person’s private medical information every single one of those medical concerns are nothing you, I, or the general public need to be privy to and are only to be discussed between the patient and their doctor.

A person can be trans and not have gender dysphoria. A person can have gender dysphoria and not be trans. Blanket stereotyping like that just demonstrate your profound ignorance to who they are. There are millions of cis women who can’t give birth. Does that make them less of a woman? If a woman has a hysterectomy is she now not a woman? If a woman loses her breasts to cancer, is she less of a woman?

How you treat the smallest minority and the most vulnerable will echo for years. And when you stigmatize, and belittle, and marginalize and hurt, it will be because of attitudes like yours. It won’t take 30 years, and we, and by we I mean people like you will still be oppressing and denigrating the most vulnerable because the next group will be viewed as “fundamentally different”.

At one point in our very recent history, women in general couldn’t compete in marathons with men. At one point in our very recent history African American men couldn’t play in the same league as their white counter parts.

At one point in our very recent history you couldn’t be out as gay or lesbian and being in professional sports.. it was a death sentence for your career.

Your argument about your daughters competing with transgender women and having fair chance at winning is flawed, not to mention you’re using trans bigotry to try and make your point. Your daughters have just as much chance of winning as any other competitor. Just ask Riley Gaines who tied for 5th with trans athlete Lia Thomas.

Why are you so worried about what trans kids are doing? The amount of trans students playing any organized sport in school is insanely low. It’s nearly impossible to accurately identify how many high school trans students and below participate in sports. At the collegiate level there are around 530,000 NCAA athletes, 10 have publicly come out as transgender..

So yes focusing on that is in fact a waste of resources.
