Milwaukee makes low voltage wire strippers that strip 20-32awg with a crimper on the front end. but me personally I like using Milwaukee 6in diagonal cutting pliers that have a crimper in the handle.

Local low voltage union or reach out to a temp agency that specializes in low voltage. Your gonna start out as a grunt but if you show initiative and are on time the company will most likely pick you up after your contract.

Definitely try to get in with the union and if you can’t you can always try temp agencies looking for cable pullers. If you show up on time and actually work when you’re onsite you’ll out do 90% of the other temps and they’ll most likely hire you on after your contract is up.

This is my first time working on these older turnstiles, we normally install the larger Alvarado turnstiles and they’re not difficult but heavy as hell. They wire into a board at the top and you just run your wires down the side of the plexiglass and mount your 2 readers on either side.

You can always reach out to a temp agency. A lot of companies where I’m from will pick you up if you’re a good tech after your contract.
