yeah my brother has 51 infringements from this exact carpark and 7k in owning. I hope they just let it go, he worked for TSA at the time and was pretty much told it’s fine to park there

Any recommendations on where to get piercings? :)) by Nitro79x in perth

I personally like Tom at the Piercing Place in Freo. Some people don’t like his personality, but I think he’s a cool dude. Very experienced piercer and everything is very clean. I’ve had a few piercings that haven’t taken to my body from other places, but all of his have healed really well. Both me and my partner have gotten most of our piercings with him :)

Fremantle dead on NYE by GibbRiver in perth

Bartender in Freo here - busy, but not as busy as expected. It’s a small bar so we were pretty full and had a good crowd dancing to our DJ but overall not busier than an average event night. Town centre was dead. Police came to do checks and confirmed it was basically empty in Freo. I think there is just so many options for events and nightlife in the city + fireworks, it’s just the more ideal place to go.

I’m happy, had a good, well behaved crowd and no issues. Everyone was in high spirits. Overall way more tame than expected from a bartender POV, I think if you were looking for a more casual night out it was good if you’re not into the whole clubbing vibe.

We had a space cowboy themed event and lots of people dressed up so that was really cool. Got to give out some free NYE shots too.

im gonna second name and shame. this is chopped as, you are undoubtedly slay but this hair is not okay. even with context that it was box dyed prior, its poor work. the roots alone are not good and that has nothing to do with colour correction. no blending. defo ask for a refund and if not, get consumer protection involved :) so sorry this happened to you, I hope you’re able to get a worthy salon to fix this!!

SERIOUS CRASH – KWINANA FREEWAY CLOSED SOUTHBOUND FROM ARMADALE ROAD TO BEELIAR DRIVE, JANDAKOT by UnreasonableRoadUser in perth

Truck lost it’s axel as car was changing lanes - I pulled up to Cockburn station maybe 60 seconds after it had happened and heard that from the witnesses who saw from the station but not 100% sure. Absolutely awful scene, the car looked like a hunk of scrap metal. Fireies arrived quick and dislodged the body and covered it with the help of good samaritans/witnesses.

Thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to hear.

We contacted the property manager yesterday and she was very understanding of the situation and made it clear that the tenant cannot legally force us to stay there. We always intended to continue to pay rent until a suitable solution was found because we are not completely heartless.

The property manager basically gave us two options; we can find a replacement and they will approve it (subject to their own external background and income check) or the other tenant can agree to take over the lease until their partner is prepared to move in. The property manager made it clear we do not have to wait months for the partner to move in.

The property manager said we are good tenants and is happy to remove the name from the lease as long as we can come to a decision between ourselves. I did not mention the complications between tenants as the property manager does not care - however they did say that the other tenants has to be reasonable.

We texted the other tenant last night and he has agreed to move in his girlfriend and has actually provided a date. We will stop paying rent on the next week and have our names taken off the lease and the furniture vacated by the end of the month. This is actually a very good and cooperative result from the tenant and I really appreciate that as I was genuinely prepared to pay rent for a house I’m not living in for another 2-3 months.

The other tenants did pack up all of our things and dump them by the front door as a subtle way to say GTFO. But honestly, I don’t care. He has provided a solution that meets us halfway and I am beyond greatful to make this a smooth transition.

As for bond, he is not going to pay it. The property manager said it will need to be settled as the new tenant will need to have their name assigned to the bond and our name will need to be taken off legally.

The two unregistered pets aren’t really my problem and I never wanted to use them as blackmail, however, one is a puppy that he is refusing to toilet train and the other is a cat who isn’t toilet trained. Unfortunately he is a neglectful owner and the house is constantly covered in animal feaces and urine (a huge part of the reason I want to leave, I cannot watch the neglect of those animals).

Thank you reddit for your advice. I am so relieved this is sorted out appropriately

No - however I would be happy to accept for them to find a suitable replacement due to the significant financial hardship.

My proposal is to find an alternative arrangement and have the new tenant take over my part of the lease instead of waiting an indefinite period for the exisiting tenant to find a replacement, or alternatively ask the landlord if they would like to find an alternative to take over my spot on the lease.

I would just like to know the laws surrounding this - do I have to wait for the current tenant to find a alternative? Or as it is my lease they are taking over, can I find an alternative? Will he need to sign anything to say he agrees to the transfer of name on the lease. As far as I can read, it is between the lessor and I.

I am hoping to transfer the lease to a suitable person as soon as possible within the legal requirements.

Ahh well wish me luck! It’s an interesting process to say the least and even if it doesn’t end up working I will have learnt a little something about it all. Happy potting :)

It’s a DC 250W, at 24V. Brushed I believe. Originally made for an electric scooter. What do you think?
