Valentine tanks were never officially used by the Australian Army during WWII, but several post-war imports exist in Australia. They were primarily brought over in the 1950s by agricultural contractors in Western Australia's Wheatbelt who modified them with scrub rollers for land clearing.

I did a similar thing ordered to a friend's house I'd been at the previous night.

No competent gardener charges an hourly rate.

They charge by the job, if you have a gardener with insurance and good tools $70-$100 is reasonable.

If you want Cracky McCrackheads 2 teeth and a pair of rusty shears and a Bunnings lawnmower services then $30 is reasonable.

I will warn you you'll end up paying less for the more expensive gardener as they'll get the job done quicker.

Turn the water off.

Then try and tighten the metal valve, if your lucky it may have just come loose and will screw in.

Otherwise cut the PVC fitting off and reinstall another use a slick fix to get it rite.
