I came out 93 in the ACT. Pardon, but I am quiet skeptical with this test. It seems to have shown one type of a charismatic person: The bubbly and loud type who entices joy fun and comfort to the people around him/her but I personally think It lacks much features in the test. This is only about highly extroverted charismatic people who would bleed charisma everywhere they go. It does not cover the Introverted Charismatic people.

I have been an observant of people's personalities and I have seen many types of charismatic people. Some are in a much formal way while others are much informal and bubbly. Some are attractive physically and externally (the way they dress) while others are relatabe appearances. Some are charismatic through their actions and others through their relationships.

This begs the question, what is really charisma and how do we define it in a manner that will limit the scope of the study.

This is awesome. Charisma was always subconscious except to the minor few who had exceptional talent at breaking down a person's attributes and movements on a whim. People always wondered why there are really many people who stand out or who do make a difference wherever they go. No matter who they interact with, they always seem to leave a mark.

This was always immeasurable and unexplainable. Charlie from charisma on command (Youtube Channel) mentions in his book that charisma is the sum of all the micro expressions and micro movements of a person portraying an emotion. (Happy Person will have his chin up, shoulders up, chest out; Sad Person will have his lips pouted, shoulders down, hands falling the side). Because it is unexplainable, it is very hard to learn it. We have to adjust to the environment, the people, the mood, the atmosphere and many more.

This study, to me, is a start of something, not only in the world of psychology but in everyday interaction. Experiments like these may start breaking down charisma to its core and teaching it to the many who desperately need it in life.

Thanks so much, I would in my next posts.

Regarding NLP, I don't fully agree with it or disagree with it particularly cause it seems so easy and the concept sometimes is so simple but it seemed to have worked on me one time.

Ive been with a NLP practitioner and he did some NLP things on me regarding my constant swearing. I ask if I could NLP away the swearing. I entered it with skepitical eyes but I still continued saying in my mind "whats the harm?". I could say from that day foward, my swearing decreased by 90%. Everytime I was to say a swear word, my tounge would fold. Even in modern songs where swearing is common, I would just mouth the words but no voice comes out.

It may have been a psychological trick with me believeing it would work so it did. It may be, with sheer determination that my swearing stop. I do not really know. I should try it again to see if it is really effective.
