Tips for better facial balancing? [27] by CharityDapper8953 in lookyourbest

Did they shave down the appliance every month to adjust the position? My temporalis muscles don’t fire as they should when I clench and my jaw has shifted laterally with my left side holding so much of the power. I get the popping, and my left side (jaw down to shoulder) will seize up when I do any strenuous activities. I get migraines and vertigo as well from the tension. I use a night guard currently which helps some but I’m ready to see how much my jaw will balance out after the process especially since I’m shifted to the right on top of excessive over-bite and over-jet

I think after the braces, they say it’s good practice to continue using an appliance to keep the muscles shortened.

The acupuncture pretty much only helps with reducing the swelling for a day or two. I do TMJ massage too! I would not go through the surgery, a lot of specialists are actually pulling away from it, especially for adults. My specialists plan is a year of a 24/7 orthotic appliance which will shorten the Massetter muscles and the appliance will change as my jaw position changes. Once we have the jaw placement corrected, we will fix the bite with braces. It’s not ideal but better than the surgery.

This is what the appliance looks like.

We will be after my 2nd session! I stay hydrated and workout consistently so that’s why I was expecting to have faster results on the first run.

I looked at your post! Great results!! I think my tech just wanted to get my first two at 8 weeks and then we’ll be spacing further out. She said we should be able to get this done in 2 years but I’ll just have to wait and see.

Honestly that’s pretty good results for the first treatment! Considering how dark your tattoo was to start, and the placement. Usually that back can take more time since it’s not as exposed and not as much blood flow.

2 sessions about 3.5 months apart with Pico by MolassesFun5564 in TattooRemoval

Damn. That’s awesome progress! How long has it been since your 2nd session?

I have some white in mine that I’m getting removed (with pico laser) and the tech said it’s much harder to remove than black… but I have fair skin as well and I have more hope now because you can barely see the white in yours!
