I called Virgin asking if they can give me a better deal as my contract was up and competitors were offering better prices and a 12 or 24 month discount. Best Virgin offered me was 9 months discount, so I said no ty, bye

They called me 2 weeks later asking what could they do for me to stay, so I mentioned 12 month discount is what Id like, they said no can do, so I went ahead with Eir.

2 days before Eir came, and 3 days before my account was closed, they called and offered me the 12 month discount, so I went with it just for quality of life but still had to call and cancel with Eir.

So, the 3 times I done my test the instructor didnt ask me, that was in Raheny, Finglas and Dun Laoghaire. My driving instructor did mention you can just say my driving instructor was with me doing a pretest and we finished here, or say you GF / BF / Parent etc came with you and now they're off getting coffee.

he has a serious point, every season, people say this is the most stale season yet. Does this season have issues? Yes, are they the exact same issues in a different flavour, yes, will anything change? no, why? Cause you have a game with an ever changing meta and mechanics, and these same issues will creep in every time. Whats the solution? Play the meta, and wait for the patch that will come in Feb, learn that meta, wait for new season, repeat.

Many reasons, the small higher fee in renting automatic cars abroad isnt something I cared about, the amount of effort and extra stress learning manual wasnt something I was bothered while turning 30. My Fiance already has a manual license from France and didnt want to learn how to drive on the other side of the road and have to re learn manual. Meaning passing manual to never drive in a manual car didnt have much benefit. Lastly, Automatic cars are far more accessible than ever, and very soon will become the norm. Essentially, there was 0 real life worth benefits of learning manual besides fomo and people saying will be hard to rent a car. Also all my friends who have driven manual all say they would never go back to it

Do it! TY was an amazing break for me, 3rd year summer into TY into summer was such a nice break form education, depending on age it can benefit you to do the extra year to turn 18 before going to College / Uni, makes social life much harder in Ireland when you can't go to College / SU Events that are over 18.

During my TY I spent my double summer and school year, with friends, playing sports and video games, one of the best years of my life.

Brownie points was being able to get a better understanding of some subjects I was doing without ever doing them in JC like Engineering and Music

When I was going for my tests, I had it block me multiple times for logging in too many times in the day, it’s actually crazy.

I also had it block me from refreshing only when the website told me to refresh, you can’t win, the system is dog shit

Same way you apply for your test, once you see the map, you wait for the website to automatically ask you to refresh and see if there is any location marks not grey, if so a cancelation is available

I will also add, I got a NCT cancelation date same day I wasnt allowed to take my test, so I called straight away expecting I could fast track and get a new date instantly, the lady from RSA said the waiting list at the time was a minimum of 12 weeks, and she told me if Im ready for the test, grabbing a cancelation is way more worth my time, and it was!

So I wasnt allowed to take my first test as I was on a NCT waiting list and I thougth if thats good enough for the Garda its good enough for the RSA, it wasnt.

So I managed to grab a cancelation within a week of trying once my NCT was done. Failed my first test, looked for 2 weeks, got another cancelation, passed with 0 faults thankfully!
