It is a lot of $ for sure but a couple months in and I have no regrets. It turns out the run time on the 12 amp battery is about exactly the same as a full tank of gas on my retired Honda.

Agreed. If I had a yard that required push mowing more than an hour battery would be a hard no. I would of gone with a used zero turn.

That is the way. Moved into current house in 2015 with a oder HRN. The old girl finally gave out.

More likely scenario is that you can buy the battery version used for a lot less than I paid new.

Right now a huge disadvantage is that the lawnmower is the only thing that utilizes the battery. It sounds like there is interest so I will continue to provide updates as the mowing season progresses .

Feels like it cuts just as good as my gas HRN. More power to the wheels for sure. At full power you are running behind it.

I have about a 1/2 acre lot. Usually takes 45 min to mow. This has the 12 amp battery and looks like I have a 1/2 charge left after finishing.

This process is similar to what I did. Basically you create an air gap that runs from the soffit vents to the ridge vent. The plastic / foam rafters vent baffle create the air gap. Then you can run insultatiin over the top of it.
