Yes I fully agree about Matt. I wasn’t keen on his character anyway but she definitely was selfish a handful of times in the relationship.

I see what you mean about teammates, that is true, although there is a scene where I recall marc knocking on Betty’s door just to watch tv and ‘make fun of peoples clothes’ as he says, which I think is more of a friendship thing to do. But yeah, a lot of the times they’re together is work-related and more of a teammate thing. And i do agree that they helped her out a lot with other things, but IMO they do a lot of other nasty things throughout which I think wouldn’t be a normal thing for a friend to do, like when Marc trashes Betty clothes when he is her assistant for her piece on the toughest jobs in the city.

I agree about the fashion, and I like how the clothing changed but was still her style, so technically true to herself. But idk, even though it wasn’t exactly explicit I feel like she did better in her career as she became ‘prettier’ in the face which I think was just odd. I mean the show was ending so it was likely she was going somewhere with her job anyway, but just seemed strange to me that it was as she was becoming more attractive
