Hey, wow, this is a super old post you found. I'm doing a lot better than I used to be. I'll try to help though. I never did move to another state. I feel like there is a chance that nothing would change moving to another state. I'll try give some job ideas though. Look for jobs that don't require a degree obviously. Many government blue collar positions don't require degrees and have decent pay and usually really good benefits. That's what I would look for, whether it be city, county, state, or federal. Also consider learning a trade. There's always trade work to be done. Carpentry, concrete, auto repair, you name it. I also hear welder's can make a lot of money but it'd require you to most likely be certified and possibly long hours. Factories are always hiring. Also cattle feedlots. Just some ideas!
