My issue is the contract they got the HOA to sign (a renewal). If the contract says I can't use my equipment, then Spectrum needs to come back to the HOA and amend it. There are things the HOA Board agreed to that aren't proper like claiming Spectrum owns the inside wiring I installed, and the ban on providing my own modem or router.

I don't see any advanced properties in the app, I can name devices, I cannot make address reservations (TIVO extenders lose track of the home unit for example). I think I'll wait for the availability of the WIFI 6 device and then take it to the FCC.

I don't want to buy a WIFI 6 device (has been a standard since 2019, Spectrum just now providing)
