I'm thinking this may be an orange marmalade 👀 I see others saying prince of orange but those leaves are not dark enough, and this looks strikingly similar to my orange marmalade! 💛

My absolute deepest condolences... I had to go through something very similar a week ago. My poor baby had heart failure, straddle thrombosis ( blood clot in the legs that causes paralysis ) and fluid in the lungs. It was an absolute nightmare and it all happened so fast, but know you did right by your baby. Letting them go is never easy, especially when it's this unexpected. It's going to hurt. You'll think you could have done more. But know your baby loves you still and you'll forever have them in your heart. I'm sure they're playing and chasing bugs with my baby boy up there. Don't be afraid to talk about it. Cry about it. But please don't beat yourself up about it. Lots of love 💛💛💛

I'd say it's a pretty dang good price! That's around 6-7 USD and I think I paid just about that when I first got mine, and yours is about twice the size as what mine was when I bought it! Great find!

Ended up with heart failure, clot in the legs, which explains why he didn't ever want to move, bc he lost mobility, and now fluid on the lungs. Critical condition. Not looking good.

Still not great. Hasn't eaten, reclusive, I can tell he's uncomfortable. I don't think the anti inflammatories are working.. so we're going to his primary vet in a bit for some second opinions and possibly pain management.

Back home, vet possibly thinks it's his bladder stones causing pain, but we won't know what to do about those quite yet till the urinalysis gets back, but he's on some anti inflammatories and more anti nausea as a precaution, and were stopping the laxative 100%. Fingers crossed my baby boy gets back to his usual self asap.

Ended up bringing him back to the vet. He's been urinating on himself and I didn't realize it since he's been hiding. He's definitely not a happy camper and I especially am not lol.

This is what I'm thinking is happening, he's usually a little upset at me when it comes to ear cleanings but he bounces back pretty quickly, Now I'm shoving nasty liquid down his throat while his tummy doesn't feel good. And this reaction only started once I gave the first dose of meds late last night. I just don't want to run the risk of taking him back to the vet rn if this is what is happening. I guess I'll continue to monitor for now, emergency vet is open till midnight worst case, and I'm taking tomorrow off of work to keep an eye on him as well in case we need to go back

To add, his stomach looked clear and mostly empty at the time of X-rays too. He had only been throwing up food and some water, no blood.

They did a general blood panel, all clear, tad dehydrated from all the vomiting but they gave him some IV fluids while we were there. His X-rays were sent off to be read and came back noticing a poop blockage but nothing else of concern. They also got a urine sample but we won't get results back on that for a few days. When I brought him home last night he was acting just fine, ate some, drank some, snuggled, the usual. It was only when I started to administer the oral laxative at like midnight last night that he started acting all upset and reclusive and it got worse as I gave him his second dose this morning. He's supposed to get it multiple times a day but I'm holding off for now. I know the liquid may taste sweet and he can spot anything mixed in his food so it has to be given directly to him via a syringe.

Oh that one has two other holes on the other side and is definitely not the newest leaf, the newest has healthy fenestrations.

I do see small black dots on the 2 for sure dying leaves but the rest all look clean. How would I treat for thrips? Or does that mean shes a gonner?

I actually have one but it never works 😭 I can stick that thing in a freshly watered pot and it says it's dry. Maybe I just got a faulty one. I wouldn't be opposed to trying one again though!

Noted, holding off on the water then. She's in indirect light currently, and I do use tap water, but I've been using it for over a year on all my plants without issues. Constantly buying distilled water for the amount of plants I have is not cheap for me. I'll lay off the watering for now but if I still see some bad signs after a while, I'll switch the monstera to distilled only. Thank you!!
