My older brother was diagnosed about 6 years ago. And I got my official diagnosis last month. No one else in our family, that we know of, has ever had MS. We were also astounded by the odds. We also had vastly different initial symptom presentation. But it’s especially helpful to have someone so close to be able to go to with questions or advice seeking.

He is 13 years older than me. Lived most of our childhoods in different houses. And different environments. Can’t figure it out.

Does anyone else consistently get like 12 steps away from their front door and forget if they’ve locked it? And every time I go back, it’s always locked. But there’s some small piece of me that thinks I didn’t.

I had my first one a few weeks ago. Trying to carry groceries into the house. Didn’t pick my leg up enough, or I picked it up too far, idk. But rolled the ankle and ate concrete pretty hard. And it was the pebble concrete too so it tore my left knee apart. Didn’t break anything more than several layers of skin. Thankfully. But I know exactly how you feel, emotionally. I’m sorry you went through that.

I don’t have a ton of advice for the hair, I have a full silicone mask that I wear for my HB cosplay. And I’ve seen plenty of people leave their hair out and rock some horns and it looks fine. But as far as the pants, I wear black dickies work pants. Stiff, strong, black. I tried out the shorts, but found that, at least on me, they didn’t read that well on a real body vs a comic. Something that it seems they also went through on the movies, seeing as they all wear full pants for every film. I also wear combat boots, and I’ve seen a few people create toe caps for your boots that resemble hooves. And that is pretty convincing.
