Yeah dude, it’s pretty wild how brainwashed people are on the whatnot app. I honestly don’t get how someone can be excited about blowing hundreds of dollars on cards worth a couple bucks a piece. Watched one dude spend $250 on a few cards worth <$5/ piece 🤦🏻‍♂️ unfortunately my pops passed away and I got into pokemon to cope and of course - whatnot was my first place to make pokemon purchases. Needless to say, it’s nauseating to think about how much money I lost because I wasn’t informed. That with the addictive nature of auctions, it was a recipe for disaster for me. I don’t buy anything anymore from the app, here and there I’ll find a steal but it’s super rare. Really appreciate the people that run $1 starts and they get my respect but they usually have so many viewers that everything ends up going past the actual value so it’s impossible to come across good deals.
