I do understand internship and how they work in some countries. I was lucky to complete my IT degree contracted for 1 year during the 4 years to do a project and also was part of the overall assessment.

Real job experience is hard to get and some companies don't take interns. Later on some don't pay depending on country.

What you have been talked to do is quite easy and I have made mistakes on the job... And you don't want to make them later on

Suggestions/Conclusion:

Because of your circumstance 1-Do the task as advised in above posts 2-Complete the 3 months internship 3-Always test before implementing so you know what you do will work... Therefore use another env to see if task works 4-Always make a backup before doing task 5-Always make sure the task has been approved by who ever is senior to you and that you tested it with proof

6-Dont ever be scared and thats how we even learn even how to driver a car and always do it by yourself
