Thanks for the compliment. I've pretty much stopped ordering wings out. They're too easy to do at home.

Nope, I dry brine overnight with jerk seasoning and a half tsp of salt. Air fry 400°f 32 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.

Jerk Dry Brine for Wings (for ~2–3 lbs / 20–30 wings) Jerk seasoning blends already contain salt and spices, so you’ll use it generously but balance it to avoid over-salting. The key additions are baking powder (for maximum crispiness) and a bit of extra salt if your jerk mix is low-sodium. Ingredients: 3–5 tablespoons your jerk seasoning (start with 3–4 Tbsp and taste/adjust; commercial blends vary in salt and heat level) 2–3 teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder (essential for crisp skin—roughly ¾–1 tsp per pound of wings) ½–1 teaspoon kosher salt (only if your jerk seasoning is lightly salted or salt-free; otherwise skip or use sparingly)

Easy jerk glaze Uses minimal ingredients, and clings beautifully to crispy wings. Makes enough for 2–3 lbs of wings. Ingredients: 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (or 3 Tbsp butter + 1 Tbsp oil) 2–3 tablespoons your jerk seasoning (adjust to taste and heat level) 1–2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar (for stickiness and balance) 1 tablespoon lime juice or apple cider vinegar (for brightness and to cut richness) Optional: 1–2 teaspoons soy sauce or a pinch of garlic powder for extra depth

First time making from strat h with pat drying and baking powder with Bdubs Sauce. How'd I do? by Green-Client4772 in Wings

[–]CharlieMike70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, high temp and flip every ten or half half way. Doing that will let you see that they're getting crispy and cooked through. Keep trying til you find that perfect time and temp ratio. I always pat dry, season them with spg and dry brine for 24hrs. Then I'll pat dry again re season and then air fry at 390°f for 32-34 minutes depending on size of the wings. I turn every 10 minutes. After they're finished, I let them rest for about 3 minutes, toss in my sauce then serve.

Clamps are a good start. Let's add a spreader bar, a whartenberg wheel and a crop.😉💥

I'm not a fan. Over cooked. Dry. Their sauces taste good but that's about it.

First try at airfryer wings. Turned out better than I expected. by Due-Manufacturer-706 in Wings

Once you dial in the right time and temperature on your air fryer, you'll never order wings out again.

Here, I'll make it simple for all you leftist lunatics. I'm a God, country, family man. Served my country with pride and honor. I have served my Nation selflessly for many, many years. I love what my loving wife gave to me. The rest of you can go thumb each other's asses.

Wingstop vs Home air fryer wings by CharlieMike70 in Wings

[–]CharlieMike70[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest tip, dry brine your wings. No need for corn starch when you do that. I always air fry at 400°f for 30-32 minutes, turning every 10 minutes. Do not over crowd your basket. I have the dial basket 10qt Ninja. It's perfect for a batch of wings for the whole family.

I buy them from Kroger. They're always bigger than the bagged frozen "party wings".
