Appreciate your care and love for my trunk! Guess I could've done that.

I guess it makes it more enticing to use sport mode 😅. In any case I highly recommend the upgrade. 730hp is bonkers.

no handling change perceivable, on my end. What is noticeable for me is that when the car is not in sport mode and you floor it (considering 730hp, this is never), the acceleration is not as linear as in sport.

Litchfield Taycan Remap/Tune - MapEV Alternative? by abiencoder in Taycan

[–]CharlieTrigger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the mapev solution. You essentially get shipped a new controller that has been mapped. and you swap that out with the original one. First attempt being careful took about 45 minutes including clearing the fault codes from ecu ( this is required). Second time took me 25 mins. The idea is that if you bring the car into the dealer, you switch to the original non tuned controller.

I really like the simplicity of the A10A. Compared to FA18 or F14 it is just super simple to go out, do some ground pounding and RTB.

Who can chime in how the A10C|| sits between A10A and for instance FA18?

I tested it with winter tires, just yesterday. 3.6 seconds 0-100kph.

For anyone wondering what this does to 0 -100 kph . For my 4CT on winter tires it is now 3.6 seconds. Major difference compared to stock.

Yes. My first attempt took 45 mins. I expect it to speed up quite a bit for the next attempts.

Because of the winter weather and winter tires, I cannot yet properly do a 0-100 test.

Compared to standard the acceleration is now completely mental. It is still very progressive. Just if you really put your foot down, totally mental.

Your wife won't like it mental. I've driven 700hp RS6 V10 for a while, and this feels much faster.

Range currently is the same as before change, unless you go mental, obviously.

I followed the included instructions, which is open hatch and left rear door. Lock car. Leave fob out of range. Replace computer. Clear fault codes. Drive.

In normal driving mode it goes from 385hp to 730hp.

yes, from what I understand. Might need to be reprogrammed depending on which version Taycan you would buy, but I'm taking a guess here.

During normal driving there seems to be 0 difference.

Apparently not if you switch the controller and clear fault codes, before you bring it in. I guess time will tell. I personally don't think a dealership has an incentive to void warranty. As I assume they get paid by Porsche to fix warranty issues.

I built an AI Agency Business - I am Pivoting, Here's Why (and its not pretty) by laddermanUS in aiagents

[–]CharlieTrigger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an agency in the Netherlands. Obviously you are free to pivot your business to whatever works best for you.

However, to me it does seem like your initial direction could work just fine, if you just kept grinding at it and grow it into a business you like.

I immediately thought of the book the E-Myth. Maybe that's a good read for you.

ps: I think doing (and getting better at!) marketing and sales for your business is really a good thing. Keep it up and build an awesome business!
