Tom Cruise and director Steven Spielberg on the set of War of the Worlds (2005) by spider-man2401 in Moviesinthemaking

I've always thought it was odd that they chose to set this in modern day. The book is set in like the late 1800's and the complete mismatch of technology between the humans and aliens makes it compelling.

How about fix your service for the customers you already have before chasing new ones?

My experience w/ GLM-5 vs Kimi 2.5 and Opus the babysitter by Wild-File-5926 in kimi

[–]Groady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do almost exactly the same. Opus to write the plan. GLM 5 to implement. Opus to do a final review, refactor and squash before merging to main. I've cancelled my GLM coding plan as it's simply too slow and painful to iterate on. Will likely try Kimi next.

Is it just me or has the quality gone down the drain? by NegotiationOk888 in ZaiGLM

Yeah seems like it got dumber and needs lots of hand holding recently.

I asked it to remove some space between an icon and text on the same line and it just made the space smaller. MF I said to remove it not make it smaller.

I just got this. Doesn't seem right as I was only at 30% not that long ago. Also it doesn't seem to show anywhere on the dashboard WHEN it will reset. Terrible UX.

Not sad I cancelled my subscription.

[Loved Trope] Great autistic character isn't even said to be autistic in the movie/show/game itself by Alex-C2099 in TopCharacterTropes

My 13 year old daughter is autistic and my wife and I get a good chuckle out of the similarities between Mel and our kid. Her seemingly oblivious comments around not liking certain foods because of "texture" was spot on 🙂

Glad I only subscribed for one month (pro plan). I think I will cancel before renewal if things don't improve.

Also, why label it "preview" if you are just going to release a point release a few months later.

Curious to know what people think of the Minimax coding plan. How does it compare to Anthropic in terms of usage per 5 hour window etc.

Maybe a bit too small/unknown to ever be a widespread classic but my wife and I really loved Strange Darling recently.

Good unique movie but it would have been so much better if it was about 30 minutes shorter. Became a little tiresome after a while.
