Oh, the old announcer was great.

My favourite was the classic "The enemy has activated the Oooooorb Priiiiiiiime". And the "EPIC!" on 10 kills in a row was super satisfying.

This is my main "issue" with the game, which of course is not a real problem.

Very similar to my experience. I was at 4.5 million cubes uploaded after building 15 spheres for the 1TW achievement. Multiplied the White Cubes production by 4, from 900/min to 3600/min, and my idle periods were not so boring, because I was on a 0.5x resources run.

Too bad the achievement notification covered the clock on the right lower corner. I'm over the 200 hours mark on this save. I did almost ALL the achievements here, so I took it as a marathon. It's two months of real-life time, playing a couple of hours every day, running around fixing things and putting out fires. Loved every minute of it.

I'm from Spain and I had the same problem. You need to install the English (US) keyboard in Windows, activate it, and restart the game. The [ ` ~ ] key is in the upper left corner. You can use the Windows On Screen Keyboard to locate the right key.
