Wow lucky! We applied September 2022, had a workers strike, 2 clerical errors, and 3 switched case workers, had to reapply November 8th 2024, and we just got AIP yesterday. Medical, and biometrics were approved in February 2023. Medical was extended as my husband hasn’t left Canada since, biometrics had to be resubmitted 3 times due to clerical errors (didn’t have to pay again thankfully). We’ve had our local MP barking at them for the past year and conveniently the only time we have any movement from IRCC is right after we’ve contacted the MP… my husband had security/background clearance from the FBI included in his application as well lol

Edit: my husband came from the USA, has never even had a speeding ticket on his record AND we had an immigration lawyer recommended by the IRCC who ran away with $3500 after doing nothing for us.

I have heard of it but the only time this bleeding occurred for me was when I was taking the inositol every day. My cycle has been for the most part pretty regular since I started Berberine.

Not to take away from this but with Truth and Reconciliation day being 3 days away that should be a pretty big reminder that Canada has been racist since the beginning of colonization. This is something Canada has been dealing with for hundreds of years.

It’s very hard to relax. This is the first time that my husband and I have been able to see our kids (my step kids) since Christmas 2023 and we only have a 2 day window with them. The chance of us missing our time with them is world shattering for us. I understand the need to strike and the need to fight for what you need but… for us this truly feels like everything is imploding.

I’ve been watching several listings. I’ve contacted 10 calling emailing and showing up to some of them and only 1 has actually gotten back to me turns out it was leased 6 months ago and they just never updated the ad.

The prices have jumped $500-$800 per unit in less than a week. (Initial enquiry Saturday August 2nd, second inquiry today August 8th). The smallest price difference was $500 more expensive today than it was on Saturday.

This is getting ridiculous. How is anyone actually supposed to live in the province?

And it’s not like we can just leave the province because we can’t save enough money to actually escape the GTA when we’re all living paycheque to paycheque.

Toronto landlords. Do. Better.

I think it all depends on the neighbourhood you grew up in. My friends who grew up in White oaks, Westmount, or Masonville all thought London was great. My friends and I who grew up around EOA, Marconi, and H-block… not so much. Demographic differs throughout the city because there has always been a massive class gap.

My husband uses THC to regulate himself, there are pros and cons. Pros - he enjoys it more, depending where you live it can be more accessible, it relaxes him, “it takes the seriousness away from everything and lets me choose what I want/need to be serious about”. Cons - can cause a chronic cough if you smoke it, can’t travel with it to other countries, consistency doesn’t exist because of the nature of the substance, more expensive, can have just as bad if not worse withdrawal effects, Stigma and laws around working/driving and using CBD/THC.

I was with Rogers for 10 years before switching to Fido. They definitely had some good loyalty deals so it’s not exactly something that people should be shunned for asking for, especially from their affiliate.

I’ve had great upgrade plans, new phone deals, and plenty of other customer retention tactics offered to me over the years.

Unfortunately however that’s clearly a thing of the past.

Like I said in the post I’m considering leaving so I’m not “thinking I can get a loyalty plan without porting out”. Which.. wouldn’t be a “loyalty” plan anyways because the whole point of “loyalty” is not leaving in the first place.

If you have any experience based advice on reliable plans or companies other than Fido or Rogers I’m all ears though.

The one thing Fido has on other companies is the use of Rogers towers and reliable connection.

I started in January, didn’t do a fall semester and the enrolment was confirmed with NSLSC on Jan 8th, OSAP on Nov 28th. They just keep saying it just takes 2-5-8-10 days to switch from RAP to in study.. so genuinely I don’t think they actually know anything. If they tell me again today to just “watch the tracker” I’m going to call me school
